SOCIAL PROGRAMME London is the greatest city in the world for art, music, clubbing, theatre, sport, shopping and a host of other activities. The capital buzzes with activities all year round. From processions, carnivals, street shows, live comedy, music ... the events are as diverse as London itself.
Whatever your background, interests or lifestyle, you'll always find something to do and people to meet. At Crest Schools of English, we encourage our students to take advantage of all that London has to offer. We also offer coach trips to places of beauty and interest around England that are difficult to reach from London without a car, such as Cambridge, Oxford, Windsor and Bath. Students are welcome to speak to our office staff for advice on where to go and we are always happy to organise group trips to the theatre, museums and so on. Most activities in London are free, for example museums, festivals, carnivals, sports. Please note that entry fees for some social activities will be required, for example cinema (approx. £7), theatre (£15 - £25), day trips (£15 - £30), bowling (£5). We will be offering the following social activities this term: Welcome to the new term - pub evening (free entry) Natural History Museum (free, excluding travel) Day trip to Oxford (£15 for transport) River Thames tour to Greenwich (free, excluding travel) Oxford Street and Soho - a chance to do some shopping (free, excluding travel) British Museum (free, excluding travel) Student bowling night (TBC) Day trip to Stratford-Upon-Avon and Blenheim Palace (TBC) Sight-seeing tour; Buckingham Palace, Parliament Square, St James's Park, Trafalgar Square (free, excluding travel) Experience Camden (free, excluding travel) National Art Gallery (free, excluding travel) End of term party (free)
