Crest Schools of English has over 20 years' experience in teaching English to international students. We are proud of the fact that the majority of our students choose to re-enrol and continue their studies at Crest.

Our mission is to provide personal, professional English language tuition and we will continue to do our best to achieve this fully and consistently.

Teachers

All Crest Schools of English teachers are experienced TEFL-qualified professionals. Students are encouraged to discuss their progress with teachers and school administrators who ensure they study at the correct level and receive the most appropriate tuition. Many of our teachers have also worked in areas such as Marketing, IT and Law and have taught overseas, thereby bringing additional expertise and an extra dimension to their teaching.

Teaching methods

Our students enjoy learning in a relaxed, friendly and supportive environment with the best combination of up-to-date teaching and traditional approaches. Students are encouraged to become confident in all aspects of the English language, as well as learning about British culture and the British way of life. Our bright, comfortable and well-furnished classrooms seat an average of 12 students. Small classes enable students to receive personal attention from our teachers and this encourages rapid progress in learning English.

Academic resources and facilities

We use the most up-to-date course books and supplementary material in class and our teachers are always eager to advise you on resource materials for self-study and examinations. Students are encouraged to use the many resources available at the school including books, tapes and CDs.

Student facilities

The school has its own multi-media study centre, free email and internet access for students, a student room and a lively social programme. We offer further education counselling workshops to assist and advise students applying to British universities.

Accommodation

Excellent, inspected host family, hotel, hostel and self-catering accommodation are available near to the school and may be booked on request.
