ENGLISH AND WORK EXPERIENCE Level: Intermediate to ProficiencyCrest Schools of English is a founder member of  The Crest English and Work Experience programme is a fantastic opportunity to improve your English and to practise the language in a natural, working environment. Crest Schools of English is accredited by the University of Cambridge International Examinations to offer the Cambridge Work Experience Certificate (CIE). This certificate is internationally recognised and is therefore a wonderful addition to any CV. Students must have a good intermediate level of English to be eligible for this programme. Work experience options are available for both EU and non-EU students. Vocational work experience: EU students can apply for this course. You will study English at Crest and then take an unpaid, vocational experience for example, in Law, Commerce, Finance, Marketing & PR, Fashion & design, etc. Work allocated will depend on your level of English and past experience. Paid work experience: Both EU and non-EU students (as part of a sandwich programme) can apply for this course. You will study English at Crest and then take part in a paid work experience for example, in a restaurant or hotel where you will earn UK minimum wage (£5.73 per hour for adults aged 22 years+ and £4.77 per hour for adults ages 18-21 years). Non-EU students will then return to Crest Schools of English after the placement to complete a short English consolidation course, where students will have the opportunity to revise and refine their language skills before the programme ends.
