Upon the successful completion of the University Foundation Programme, you will receive the Crest Schools of English certificate accompanied by the IELTS certificate and an academic reference from our Director of Studies.

Level: intermediate to proficiency (B1 – C2)

For students who would like to continue their studies at a local university, this foundation programme guarantees successful applicants an appropriate place at Middlesex University. What is the programme like?

The university foundation year course has two modules, each 12 weeks long and concludes with an IELTS test. The modules consist of:

English language tuition (general, academic, conversational)
IT lessons
Self-study sessions
Academic skills lessons
Tutorials

The programme specialises in the development of your academic English language skills in the following areas:

Academic reading – extended reading of academic material and note-taking
Academic listening – lecture/seminar note taking
Academic speaking – oral presentations, participation in seminars and group discussions
