This programme is designed for those who have the summer free and would like to obtain the First Certificate in English (FCE), a world-famous, internationally recognised qualification. Our experienced and qualified teachers will train you in exam techniques and provide you with examination preparation materials, including past examination papers. Throughout your studies, your progress will be closely monitored, you will be given homework and encouraged to use our free self-access materials when studying at home. The summer FCE course is a part-time course (9 hours per week) and will run for 8 weeks from 5th July 2010. It can be combined with general English lessons focusing on improving: reading, writing, listening and speaking skills, while developing pronunciation, vocabulary and social and idiomatic English. As summers in London can be very exciting, we offer all our students a social programme to ensure that everyone has a lot of fun and that all students practise speaking English in authentic situations as much as possible.
