Crest Schools of English has a new language programme that prepares people for the Trinity College GESE Exam (Graded Examinations in Spoken English). The GESE is a spoken exam, testing candidates’ speaking and listening skills. At Grade 2 level, the GESE is recognised by the UK Border Agency as suitable proof of English for people applying for the spouse visa*.

GESE preparation classes at Crest Schools of English are designed to increase your confidence and accuracy in spoken English and to improve your listening comprehension skills.

At the same time as you apply for your preparation course you can also register for the GESE exam at London Crest Open Centre, a registered Trinity College Examinations Centre. One benefit of taking the GESE exam is that the results are available to candidates on the same day as the exam, with certificates arriving a few weeks later.

Evening Classes are Back .. Phew!

Sometimes it is difficult to juggle everything in your life especially when there are several things that overlap such as work, study and family.

For example, most English language courses are held in the daytime, which makes it very difficult for full-time workers to attend school. This means that many people miss out on improving vital communication skills that might make their professional and personal lives in the UK a bit easier. In fact, it can be a bit of a “Catch 22″ if your workplace requires you to have a higher level of English in order to progress but you are not able to make it to classes because of your working hours.

Fortunately, our evening classes are back in September! Evening classes take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays every week from 6pm to 9pm. Lessons are taught by fully-qualified professionals who will help you to improve your speaking, listening, writing and reading skills. You will also be given a login to our e-learning site so that you can study at your own pace with online lessons, whenever you want.
