About Crest Schools of English
Crest Schools of English is a UK Border Agency (UKBA) Highly Trusted Sponsor and has been teaching English since 1983. Our friendly and experienced teachers and administrative staff ensure that each and every student receives the very best in English language tuition.
Students are free to visit our office whenever they need (if only to say ‘hello!’), which fosters a welcoming atmosphere at the school and students can feel secure knowing that we are always on hand to help with any queries.
A recent survey showed that many of our current students chose to register with our school because they were recommended by a friend: we are very proud of this result because we believe it is the ultimate testament to the quality of our service and to the happy environment of our school.

Location
Crest Schools of English is based in a pleasant suburb of London called Edgware. The school is located on the main street, which means students can enjoy shops, restaurants and cafes in their free time and we are just a one-minute walk to the station.
The advantage of being here is that you can easily visit central London by bus or tube to enjoy the magnificent sights and fantastic night life – but without the stress or cost of living in the centre. It is an equally convenient location for those who want to visit the many beautiful places outside London and who want to experience real English living first-hand.
The school is also in a fantastic location for outdoor sporting activities. You can play in the local football grounds, improve your tennis in the tennis club (which is walking distance from the school), play golf, go cycling through the countryside or even go kayaking and rafting. For those that enjoy martial arts or dancing, there are classes every week as well as a fully-equipped gymnasium close to the school.
Resources
WiFi: all students have access to free WiFi internet.
Classrooms: our classrooms are spacious, bright and sunny.
Snack Shack: students are welcome to socialise in break times or eat their lunch in our student Snack Shack. It is a great way to meet students from other classes.
IT Suite: students are welcome to use the computers in our IT suite at any time. With stunning views of the local area, you can browse the internet, create documents or check your emails. There is also a quiet study area for you to do extra practice or homework in peace.
E-learning: students are encouraged to use our e-learning portal where they can access online lessons, contact teachers and check their timetables. The portal can be accessed from any internet connection so students can use it whenever and wherever they are.
Student Room: there are comfortable sofas in our student room so that you can relax in between classes and chat with friends. You can also read any books from our bookshelves and borrow them to read at home. If you would like to borrow audio books or DVDs please ask at reception.
Cafes: the school is located right in the middle of a huge number of restaurants and coffee places – you will be spoilt for choice!
